This is the best! Small but wonderfully well represented by the people in town and out who love this area and are dedicated to good, locally-grown/raised food. Definitely part of the Oberlin experience!

In these days of Mad Cow Disease it's important to know personally the people who grow the animals that become one's meat dishes. Hickory Acres Farm is our connection with local soil in this manner. It's also got a booth run by an NGO that sends profits to a village in Guatemala whose people were uprooted by a US-backed former government.

Produce is grown locally, fresh and organic. Supports our local farmers and our community.

Grown locally and the baked goods are also baked here. Some are organic. I'm not sure if all of it is organic but we do have a whole lot of organic foods in Oberlin. It's diversified in culture and a great community.

Everything is fresh picked by the farmers who grow everything on their little farms. It does not cost alot and it is supporting my local community
