The principle here is the all important thing. Not having a means for getting there I don't have to do that to vote. See, any proprietor promoting natural viands in competition to what is out there prepackaged, processed, loaded with additives is doing the right thing. I'm far from a 'newbie' in the practice and study of all that is natural, the natural and alternative. I could go on and on but not wanting to write a book here I will bid you fond adieu for now.

small enough where each stand can get equal business...even though they have the same products.

I've been shopping at the Waltham Farmers Market for over a dozen years. I love the produce, the baked goods, the atmosphere, and interacting with the vendors. I've tried many wonderful new things, courtesy of Steve Parker (when he was still in Waltham)and the vendors with the Asian vegetables. It is great that there are several organic farms represented now, too. You can't buy produce like this in the grocery store.

Good timing - Sat. morning when I am not working. Also they have good selection of vendors, and they often have live music!

A good set of vendors with vegetables, eggs, cheese and other local food, AND vendors representing more local and specific crafty interests -- a good community cross-section.

Nice array of friendly vendors, lots of nearby parking, and, often, good music playing to keep you entertained as you poke through all the fresh produce.

It has a good variety of vegetables. I like the one at Newton best, but it's not on your list.
