I love to buy local! Happy to support Ligonier and other local farmers and craftsmen. Feels good to lesson the carbon foot print.

The things they offer the public are always first quality. There is always a variety of things to choose from and the people who are offering the various things for sale have nice personalities and are interesting to talk with.

The Ligonier Country Market is one of those experiences that you simply can not afford to pass up! Easy to get to, no hassle shopping, great produce, magnificant plants and merchandise and, last but not least, located in midst of the enchanting Laurel Highlands.

We can get fresh produce and admire the Penn State Master Gardener Community Garden.

So true! The gardens are magnificent examples of great planning and execution. Also we enjoy the children's garden where local kids get to dig in the dirt, plant seeds and transplants and best of all, eat what they grow there! An excellent learning experience. A must see while at the market.

We didn't have a country market where I moved from a year ago and I think it very important to support the local farmers & community. I'm so glad Ligonier is so community minded.

Ligonier Country Market is the oldest, largest, best managed market in Western PA. Well over 100 vendors vie for space to sell their premium quality produce, flowers, prepared foods, baked goods and delightful art and craft items. Attending the Ligonier Market is as much a social event as a shopping experience. Comfortable hospitality tents allow weary shoppers to "rest a bit" and chat before going back to the fun of shopping. Shoppers stop to greet their friends. The location of the Ligonier Market adjacent to a working dairy farm provides a delightful bucolic setting to sooth the senses jangled by our busy life styles. A beautiful garden located at the entrance to the Market, installed by the local Master gardeners provides an extra touch of charm to the venue.

I am a vendor there and my business has grown exponentially along with the growth of the Market. It is a wonderful setting with friendly people and tons of good things grown or made locally which supports our local economy.
