It's well organized, good fresh local produce. It's always busy and seems like a place people want to be on a Sunday afternoon! Keep it going!!

I love our farmer's market. The produce, the people and the music make it a great experience every time we go. Most importantly, it feels good to make the most sustainable choice by buying local.

Helping sustain local farmers, eating local, fresh and organic foods, a place for the community to gather. Our market is well attended, well organized and beautifully situated.

Great to have local produce and other products come to the Island. To me local means fresh and more healthy.

We've neeed something like it for a long time; it has turned out to be successful, well attended, a happy place for Islanders to meet on Sunday, and beautiful to boot! It is also very well organized and has outstanding offerings. Jane Ditzler, Chair, Mercer Island Arts Council

Mercer Island is a small intimate community. The community members are already well sensitized to environmental issues. The Mercer Island Farmers Market is a logical extension of that eco-sensitivity and best of all it was started by a community member who graduated from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute and saw a need for the community to benefit from fresh produce while supporting local farmers.
