I travelled across the Bronx for this market as I have heard over the years that Coop City has one of the best farmers' markets in the Bronx. I was very disappointed last month when I found two stands. 2 STANDS for Coop City?! Granted one of the vendors mentioned that they had been moved because other vendors were no longer apart of the market. If more vendors start participating I think that the market could be revived.

While I feel it is important that people in the Coop City community support the market to help revive it, I will not be returning unless more vendors participate. We'll see what happens next year.

I believe it is important to support local farmers market and this is the one closest to me.

Looks like you're in a catch-22. You want to support Bronx green markets, but not if they only have two stands. Green markets need support to exist, without it they may end up with only two stands. I plan to support the Co-Op City market tomorrow (Wednesday). I plan to check them out Saturday too, as there may be more offerings that day. Too bad that you traveled a distance and was disappointed. I'll put in enough support for the both of us.
