We are a local vegetable farm in the area and like to buy whole and half animals when we have the freezer space. This year we purchased our hog from Golden Bear Farms; Steve and his wife Marie are awesome people and farmers that grow some world class pork. Along with ourselves I know some other people that have purchased a hog or a half from them in the past and I have never heard a bad review! I highly recommend Golden Bear Farms! They are easy to work with (not to mention Marie has the patience of a saint, with as busy as we are on our farm I was terrible at getting back to her and she was cheerful and easy to talk to throughout the whole process!), timely and very responsive!
