Most food has traveled 1,200 to 1,500 miles to get to your grocery store. By buying local, we're helping Michigan farmers and businesses while lessening travel. What better way to live a 'greener' life than to buy the freshest produce, packed with nutrients, grown in our own backyard. After all...you are what you eat!

Starting from nothing this year, the Pentwater Farmer's Market has grown into a vibrant twice a week market packed by both locals and visitors. There is also the excitement each week to see the local produce come into season and see who has the first peaches, the last cherries, etc. We never miss it!!

we live in the midst of large fruit farm business and they don't get any fresher than that! Cherries, pears, apples and peaches!! We are the asparagus capital of the world and the prices are the lowest ever here..
