The name has changed, however the market is still here with some changes. It is from 3-6 pm every Thursday from the 3d Thursday in March through the 1st Thursday in November with many items of farm raised produce along with plants, kids toys, eggs, baked goods, jellies & jams, meat and raw & unfiltered Honey. The market now goes by the name "Downtown Hattiesburg Farmers Market".

There's actually an error in the info above - it's from 3-6pm on Thursdays at the location listed, from April to October. I believe there is another farmers' market on Broadway on Saturday mornings, but I haven't been.
The Pinebelt one just got started back up, and there are some new vendors! There are now fresh eggs available, and a new dairy farmer out of Lumberton from whom I've bought incredibly tasty milk, yogurt and butter. There's a plant man, a lady that sells tamales, several jellies, jewelry, goat products and greens. Come out and see it!

Love their stuff! All high-quality, and so nice to see & know the nieghbors and those from a bit farther who grow, make and sell the produce and products.

It's so important to our health to eat food grown in the area where we live. Our farmers work hard to keep us healthy.
