I love this Market! I've been to several in the Baltimore area and this is by far the best. The 32nd Market has tons of produce stands and it's within walking distance of my house. The market is always busy and filled with fresh, yummy wholesome foods! Other markets that I've been to just don't compare.

We moved 8 years ago so we could be 1 block away from this farmer's market. It's open year round and has a good mix of produce and prepared foods, serving a very diverse community and helping bridge boundaries between neighborhoods.
We do a lot of our shopping there every week (milk, eggs, vegetables, spices, pizza, muffins, etc.) and every week spend a lot of time just catching up with neighbors and friends there as well.
A friend just started a bike-powered smoothie stand (pedal your own and get $0.50 off) and there are so many other amazing things there. - http://www.32ndstreetmarket.org/
BTW, while the name of the market is Waverly or 32nd Street, it is located in Baltimore City, please adjust the information as such.

Every week I take my little red wagon and walk to the market load up on seasonal produce, as well as eggs, sometimes chicken, and a standing order for spelt bread. Talk about eating locally!

Not only can you get great fresh food, you support local business and participate in community life. I have been going for years and feel like many of the vendors are like friends. After living out of the country for one year, I knew I was home when I returned to "my" market.

The 32d Street Farmers Market plays a very important role in the community, bringing together not only the Waverly community but also the surrounding communities and neighborhoods. It also allows for an exchange between the farmers and the people who frequent the Market, therefore strengthening local agriculture and trade. Go Waverly!!

An exciting place to be on a Saturday morning in Baltimore. Fabulous produce, bread, cheese, and artisanal concoctions. A diverse and happy crowd of shoppers. The funky and fun surrounding neighborhood of Waverly with its great used book stores, thrift stores, and even a nearby Indian food market.

The market is all the things described by others -- the wonderful produce, the wide spectrum of socio-economic and cultural diversity, the great feeling of community, the incredible array and variety of goods from home-made vegan pizza to body care products and spicy condiments; its vibrancy and vitality are plapable, and it is a joy to go there.

I'm a block away and it's been my neighbor since it started 28 or so years ago. I've been involved as a market master, board member, and customer. It's a wonderful source of fresh, local produce, homemade foods and a great village social scene. Delightful!

I love the atmosphere..the friendliness of all the vendors who even remember your name! The friuts and veg are fresh, very varied, and all local...and fairly priced. I love the entrepreneurial spirit of vendors who make home-made chocolate, home-made soap, creams, all-things-ginger, and many home-made foods that are wonderful -- breads, pizzas, organic dishes -- creative and delicious foods and the prices are good. It is a weekly treat to go to the 32nd Street Market!

Our family was one of the earliest supporters of the 32nd St. Farmer's Market. For city dwellers like us it was and is a mecca of fresh produce and other farm products like milk, meat and eggs. There's an enormous choice of products and it is a place to meet and greet other members of our city community.

We support the Waverly Farmer's market in Baltimore because there is nothing like knowing the people that grow your food live up the road. When you look them in the eye and ask them what good, you know they will steer you right because they'll see you next week. Plus, where else can you get Woolsey Farm meat AND hang out with the awesome Market Master Craig?
