Reviews for: Longleaf Farmers' Market

We went to the market area on Thursday, 12/31 after reading in the SP Times that it was open. We couldn't find it. The market website was no help, as it did not appear to be up to date.

I went to this market a couple of years ago and it was small, but had good quality items and knowledgeable vendors. I'd make the trip from Land O' Lakes if I could be assured that the market is open.

Where exactly is this farmers market and are they open now (10/2009)...the page says it was last updated in 2008 so I was not sure if it was there anymore or not? Is it an outdoor event on certain days or is it in a building and there everyday? Thanks in advance if anyone answers!

I am a snowbird. My Fl. residence is not that far from this market. I love to go weekly, sometimes, just to look around, and sometimes to buy. Everyone is friendly and has nice things to buy. Love the plants and produce.

Good food, low prices, and they like you be comme in and even just to look around, and very down to earth.

It gets people together; lonely people can find friends there - markets such as this one, sells more than fresh produce - it sells happiness.
