Thank you, Mary Jones, for the beautifully packed lavender, the great waterless hand cleaner, and nice note. A lovely introduction to Scented Acres. In addition to the projects I have planned, I liked the other reviewer's idea about using the lavender in dog beds... I'll be trying that! And I'll be back in touch when I need more. I ordered 1 pound of this lavender to make a big lavender pillow for my daughter for Christmas. She is a college student overseas and sometimes had a hard time unwinding and going to sleep. After using the pillow she said she had a hard time getting out of bed! The scent goes out of lavender after awhile, (even if you refurbish it with lavender oil) and she is asking for a new pillow this year for Christmas. So I am ordering another pound of lavender for a new pillow and an extra pound for me to make other gifts with. This lavender is the best, and I am proud to support a local grower.

I received the dried lavender buds today and am so impressed with how clean they are, and the wonderful aroma. They will be perfect for my sachets! Thanks for the hand sanitizer as well. It is great!

I ordered the bulk lavender to sprinkle in my dogs' beds (we have two and they seem to be stinky no matter how often they are bathed). So when the lavender came, I got straight to throwing it in their beds. I used about a 1/4 cup in each bed, inside the cover so it isn't messy, and almost 2 weeks later, my bedroom no longer smells like a doggy kennel AND, I swear, they are sleeping more peacefully each night. Bottom line, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the dried lavender buds from Scented Acres Farm!
