Several months ago at the urging of a friend we drove up to Ashland Farmers Market to investigate Keenbell Farms meat and eggs. We were looking for a natural source for breakfast meats and eggs for our Bed and Breakfast. At this time CJ was offering a $50 variety pack which was right in the ball park for me to try not just their breakfast product but other cuts of meat as well.
Since that time we have shifted to using KeenbellÂ?s sausage, sage and maple as well as their hand-cut bacon and eggs. We like the fat content in the sausage which keeps it moist and flavorful during cooking and the bacon has great flavor and a higher percentage of meat to fat ratio. All have been a hit with our guests, we will be visiting the Farm later this spring and plan on adding a page to our web site explaining the Keenbell Farms story.
Give their products a try, you will not be sorry.

The Keenbell Farm pork sausage was some of the best sausage I have ever eaten. It tasted amazing and it seemed to have less fat the the store bought sausage I was used to eating. I would recomend if you have had strictly grass raised meat products you should deffently try it out, the taste is just so much better!
