I just love the feeling of getting fresh farm goods and helping support local people in and around Mt. Clemens. I run into lots of neighbors and friends I haven't seen from time to time, this just adds to making the MCFM a warm, friendly, open air market. And the chef making new recipes using the local produce -- the best!

I LOVE it! I used to live down the street from my dad and every Saturday he would pick me up for the farmers market and we'd each buy veggies for our households for the week. We'd get home and I'd make a breakfast stir-fry and then that evening, walk down to his house for a grilled veggie (and fresh fish from Lake St. Clair) dinner! Now, that I live in Brighton, Poppa Joe and I bond about once a month at the farmers market and the other Saturdays, my husband hears me say how much I miss it.

We support our Mount Clemens Farmers Market obviously because of its incredible fresh produce but maybe more importantly the experience of going to the market itself. It is incredible what Michigan farmers are capable of producing! Each season we have the best possible produce delivered directly to us from the farm and if needed an explanation of how to choose the best! Secondly, we support this farmers market because we believe in acting and buying locally for our continued health and economic sustainability. We have to support our state and each other whenever possible! Lastly we support our local farmers market because we enjoy and appreciate delicious healthy food and most of all the sense of community it gives all us as we walk and talk to the farmers, venders and our neighbors each weekend. We have to stay connected! Many thanks to the farmers, garden experts and everyone who make our Mt. Clemens Farmers Market a huge success every weekend!
