Their lettuce is tender, tasty and fresh and with the roots attached keeps nicely in the fridge. I buy it at Freed's market, a small family-owned grocery on Swamp Pike. I've shopped at Freed's for years, and I love that I can support Butter Valley Harvest farm there.
