Convenient, local farmers with local produce, meats, eggs, bread, plants. A chance to say hello to neighbors. Great food available.

Although it started small, it has grown both in quantity AND more importantly, quality. Well-done Great Falls Farmers Market!

This weekly market is the only source of fresh, locally-grown produce in town. It has been exciting to see it grow over the past few years!

We have some excellent local farms that produce superb food! From cheeses and fruits and vegetables to meat and fish! They struggle to stay in business and help us all stay healthy. There is not better food for the body than fresh locally grown food. we need them!!!

This market epitomizes community, the wide range of products and services available is always increasing and the atmosphere is cordial. It makes it the place to be on weds. afternoons 3p-6p. Entertainment is a plus.

The market is central to the downtown area of our small village so it's walking distance for many of us and just off the bike path. The setting is next to a local natural history center which is open during the growing season. The number of vendors is growing and there is live entertainment from time to time.

It's literally right outside my door, great to walk to for old and young alike, making fresh local food accessible to all in our small village, friendly farmers.

The market has grown considerably this year but it has not lots it's charm. The vendors and the market manager are always helpful. There is always something different to offer and just a week ago some students from the local grammar school played their instruments for our entertainment. Now that is a local market

Vendors are from nearby, location is in the middle of a high-density village with limited-income residents.

I like to support my neighbors and to know where my food is coming from.
Turners Falls does not have the best options for produce - until the Farmer's Market opens for the season!

It is small, local, friendly and has a great group of vendors. In many ways it is one-stop shopping but more impportantly it is neighbor to neighbor! This year it has expanded and is highly visible, it seems very well attended and fills a real need. In a time of struggling economy it feels good to be buying from the source and supporting our community.

I greatly appreciate the farmers who kept coming back for the last three years, even though they were probably not getting enough business. This year it is hitting its stride and it's wonderful. Not only is there great produce, but several craftspeople have been coming (one sells shopping bags made from recyclable materials) as well as an organization that coordinates volunteers for nonprofits. A couple of women who raise chickens come sell their eggs and also bring along some gorgeous, rather exotic species for us to see. The spirit is wonderful, the produce is great, and it's easy and convenient. This is a little blue-collar town & there's a lot of public housing here, too, so it's especially heartening to have it.

I have seen this market grow from 4 vendors just a year ago to as many as 16 this year. All the vendors are friendly with a wonderful assortment of items, plus it is just a great place to shop in this re-establishing old village of Turners Falls, MA 01376

We are a small village, and our farmers market is smaller than some of the others, but it has so much to offer in fresh produce, baked goods, plants for the garden, and specialty items such as colorful bags made from recycled materials, and tables with information about non-profit activities and the Peace Corp. Frequently there is music by local groups. It is a downtown gathering place close to the Connecticut River and next to the Great Falls Discovery Center. I don't let a Wednesday afternoon go by, rain or shine, without visiting and stocking up, and getting to chat with neighbors.
