The produce is fresh, everyone is friendly, and I love having contact with the people who grow and or prepare the food.

BSFM rocks! We love the people, the delicious sights and smells, and the chance to buy great food from the people who grew it. Oh, and Amish cookies ... yum!

The Bank Street Farmers Market is the place to be on summer Saturday mornings. Come mid morning the place is packed with folks looking for the best flavors in town so it pays to go early. Early bird gets the tomatoes, strawberries, etc. There's lots of vendors and home grown goodness to enjoy. I recommend stocking up for the week.

I like to take my kids. They seem more apt to eat their veggies if they get to pick them out. The only problem is that everything looks so good they have a hard time choosing. That's a problem I'll take every day.

It gives a chance for local organic growers and meat producers to sell their produce that is in season locally and so promotes local farm produce as well as sustainable farming

It's a lovely way to start a day among the friendly folks. Pleasant sights of so many beautiful flowers and veggies. Food to eat there or furchase for later. The market is a treat to be enjoyed and shared.

A VERY crowded venue on Saturdays during the summer: open on Tuesdays & Thursdays too.

You can find fresh, local produce, locally raised meats and eggs, processed sausages & jerky, canned salsas & fresh tortillas, Amish baked-goods, local hand-crafts, flowers, potted plants, and lots and lots of happy Kalamazooans.

EBT & SNAP (food stamps) accepted by most vendors.
