Amanda & Sam run an amazing farm here in the mountains of Maryland. The CSA is an excellent opportunity for you to learn (yes, I said "learn") how to eat again. We joined the CSA leading up to the birth of our first child and with our first season of involvement we had an abundance of high quality, locally grown food. We had enough that it inspired to me start canning and be able to take advantage of the flavor of farm food year round.

Some of our child's first solid food (after being exclusively breast-fed) was frozen squash from their farm. We're picky, crazy people who only feed our children organic and naturally grown foods. That should tell you something about the quality this farm produces. I never, ever thought twice! Their grass-fed beef is among some of the best I have had... and I've lived in Texas. I know my steaks! LOL!

The prices are excellent and more affordable than you would think... even, in most cases, cheaper than horrible beef or produce from your big-chain markets.

Get involved and start eating good food. The CSA is awesome!

Nice co-op, great people. Good selection of vegetables, fun to work on the farm (but optional). Got lots of tomatoes last year, excellent squash, and loads of kale. Can't comment on the beef (vegetarian) but the cows sure looked happy.
