I have been a customer for 23 years...I really love getting to know the wonderful people who grow and prepare my food. The St. Paul Market could be a model for the country.Plus, I love the diversity...lemon grass and maple syrup, bitter melon and Honeycrisp apples...

A great market! Everything I look for fresh baked bread, meats, flowers, veggies, berries and fruits.

Everything is fresh and local. There is a huge variety of products! I can buy almost all my groceries here, and the atmosphere is the best. Love the fresh-baked pastries, too!

I love taking my children to see that vegetables can be grown by farmers in our local area. The vendors are always so friendly, and take time to talk to the children. We always see people we know. Once when we were having a bagel sandwich we shared a table with Paul Wellstone and Betty McCollum. We'll never forget that.

It's super. The selection is fantastic and the vendors are very friendly and helpful. I can't wait until we get the year-round facility.
Unfortunately I am still unable to find Oxheart tomatoes, but maybe someday...

For 20 years I grew everything organically: goat milk, cheese, yogurt, maple trees, lake and fish, bees and honey, an acre of gardens, canning and freezing and cranberry bogs, one man, one woman and three children.
In the city now, I buy my foods "organically grown ." Store organic produce and products do not compare to Home Grown by Real People; (e.g. NOT Dole organic bananas! Though a step in the right direction for sure.)
The Farmers Market has renewed my life, literally, in recovering from a car accident. This truly fresh, truly homegrown, "prayed over" nourishment has the spirit that is destroyed in processed foods and missing from megafoods that barely meet the standards for organic.
Access to living foods is the first step in saving our planet, literally, both through sustainable agriculture and renewed human health which ignites the much needed motivation to create this re-birth. We are all in this together. Life, all of existence is one huge symbiotic pulsating hologram. Protecting and nourishing the whole continuum of life is our purpose in being. Just ask one of your children, preferably the youngest, the one closest to where we all came from.
Thank you for being.
Thank you for helping to spearhead a rising tide of American Spirit that lives on in millions of us. You cannot stop a rising tide. Know that we will rise together and support life with our every breath.
Yours in health and freedom,
Michaelene Peterson
