Reviews for: Birch Creek Farms

NOTE: As of May 2010, Brad is not doing the CSA for this year. I called and confirmed that he will still be selling his vegetables and fruit at local farmer's markets.

Review: We were a part of the Birch Creek Farm CSA for 2009. It was our first experience with a CSA and overall it was good. We created a google email group with the other folks and it quickly became clear that a lot of folks were not used to being at the mercy of the growing season.

Pros: The vegetables were all good quality and were delivered on time when they were available (due to weather the season was shortened)

Cons: Brad is a farmer and as such was probably not used to the hyper communication that takes place online. That said their communication could be better.
