I didn't choose this market for my regular season pick ups, but several vendors chose to have winter pick up here; Agriberry apples and Simply Abundant Farms turkeys were my specifics. This church kept the lot open in the pm for the vendors, lights on, and the market space is available for vendors to be in place when services let out. Great location, on retrospect. Historic architecture in an established neighborhood.

We are so glad to have st.stephen's farmer's market in the area. there is a real need for it. The vegees are wonderful, the sharpening booth is a great addition, so are the musicians. It is also a fun place to meet friends and neighbors on Saturday mornings. Thanks to all the organizers, it takes a lot of work for this to happen. It is about time we encourage healthy local farmers to have a voice. Let it grow!

This is a new market with lots of youthful positive energy and has the ability to be very successful. The Co-ordinator and attendents are the very best I've ever seen!

This market has just the right mix of organic foods, entertainment, gifts, and helpful information. In addition, the setting is so convenient, they provide plenty of free parking, and each Saturday we see old friends and enjoy talking to them with our cup of coffee from Blanchards, our pastry from Lucille's and our bags full of nourishing vegetables, fruits, pasta, granola!

Everytime I go to the market there is a new variety of items offered as well as weekly staples such as fresh vegetables and fruit. The prices of all of the vendors is very reasonable. Items range from herbs, gumbo, homemade kids clothes, bird houses, organic meats, fruit sorbets, and homemade pasta. It's a fabulous treat to enjoy on a Saturday morning!!

I like this market because it is brand new this year and really trying to meet the needs of its patrons. From knife sharpening to freshly squeezed lemonade to master gardeners explaining composting it was a destination even before fresh produce was available for purchase.. It is making us aware about the connection between what we put on the table and our wellbeing.

The local vendors supply fresh products, not shipped half way around the country or world, which helps support local economics. The fellowship of meeting different people and cultures, as well as helping support church efforts.

St. Stephen's market is committed to supporting local farmers and craftspeople...no vegetables trucked in from elsewhere! This market is also committed to strengthening our community, and to helping people make the connection between the stewardship of God's creation, and the choices they make about food.

It is a "producer only" market with an extraordinary selection to chose from, everything from coffee to veggies and plants to soap and goat cheese! I appreciate and applaud their mission statement to bring local farmer's together with a local neighborhood as a venue to sell what they raise and produce. I also support them for initiating of this outreach program of the Episcopal Church in their local area.
