Reviews for: Mud Creek Farm CSA
Cost to high for what you get

I really wanted to love being in this CSA but was disappointed. The shares are very small for the price. I went to farmers markets and grocery stores all season to make up for it. Mud Creek will say pricing is comparable for organic produce in this area, but grocery store prices and farmers selling at a market aren't comparable. Grocers and farmers selling at a market have more overhead from picking, packaging, transporting and selling the produce and transporting unsold produce back to the farm vs. Mud Creek. Since I drove to the farm and bagged my produce from bins at Mud Creek, they didn't have any of that expense so it should be reflected in the price and or size of the share.
Well Organized and Full of Choice

Mud Creek Farm has done a great balancing job of providing incredible value, choice and fun experience. I regularly load up on unlimited herbs and Ground Cherries or hit the "seconds" bins, plan meals ahead and choose what I want from the greens table and take a picnic with my 3yr old and spend the evening playing with hula hoops.

I joined Mud Creek Farm in 2009 and participated on the farm each week for a vegetable share....it was wonderful! It was Erin's first year bring her dream to life...and she was on the ball, well organized, and handled herself beautifully! I'm so greatful to have been a part of it...and so sad I moved away and can no longer visit on a regular basis! I would recommend Mud Creek to anyone in the Rochester and Finger Lakes area.
1st year a success

My wife signed us up in 2009 for farmer Erin's 1st harvest. Wow, did we get a lot of food! A vegetarian couple can almost completely subsist on the quantity of food we received. Always organic and freshly picked. Next year we're buying a freezer so we can cook up large batches of food from Mud Creek Farm and enjoy it all year 'round!

Farmer Erin has done a bang up job! Very well organized and asthetically pleasing space with vegetables that are diverse and lovely. It's a pleasure to visit and to eat from Mud Creek Farm.
