Touring this farm was nothing short of amazing. These two ladies have made really efficient use of the land. They nurture ALL the plants from seedlings right up to full maturity by hand. There is a lot of love and care put into the entire production.

I have had the luxury of also being the recipient of jams, jellies, pickles and many creative recipes that allow one to create the ultimate experience of their CSA. My family is so grateful for the gift of health that we have been awakened to.

Here are two ladies, Liz and her mother Jillian, who really love vegetables, love nurturing them like children and probably even talk to them. The result: fresh, exceptionally tasty and healthy vegetables. They grow a wide array of vegetables. Both ladies are very personable and easy to work with.

Last year, through the Camas Farmer's Market (yeah!) my wife and I made friends with Liz Nelson, the organic farmer behind "Heavenly Bounty" CSA (along with her mother) in the battleground area. We got lovely free range eggs and a bag of wonderful veggies every week through the fall (and then apples, and pumpkins, etc). Her prices for a share are reasonable, and she's really nice and easy to work with. We always felt like we got enough vegetables, what we did get was high quality. We look forward to getting more veggies this year!

I have the luxury of living down the street from this CSA. The owners are passionate about gardening and the environment and it is reflected in the abundance of healthy organic fruits and vegetables they produce every year.

We moved here in 2005 from Phoenix and I knew NOTHING about gardening. Liz and Jillian taught me how to grow foods using organic gardening methods and made me realize the benefits not only to our health, but the health of our eco-system by using these methods. And most importantly, the food tastes amazing!

I am so thrilled that they have started their own CSA so that others may benefit from the fabulous produce they grow. Good food, good people. I highly recommend Heavenly Bounty - the name says it all!
