This market does occur still! It's a great market! It ran through the full 2016 season and will be open again for the 2017 season. It is not a huge market, but I like that because it is easy to shop for good quality pesticide free and organic produce grown by local farmers. They also have a lot of community involvement and special events/activities planned throughout the season.

This is by far the best Farmer's Market in the South Suburbs. The people are open and friendly to discussion about their product. The food is fresh, in season, and well priced. Most importantly, this isn't one of those massive flea-market style farmer's markets where there are vender tents selling garage sale toys and booth after booth selling home-party products like Tupperware and Tastefully Simple. They provide a weekly attraction for the kids; story time, face painting, music sing alongs - and it's easy location and available parking options make it the perfect weekly stop-in for your fresh fruits, veggies, and anything else that you just can't resist picking up.

The Palos Heights Farmers Market is set to open Wednesday May 9,2018, 7 am-1pm at 12217 S Harlem Ave in downtown Palos Heights. The market is located at 12217 S Harlem Ave, on the east side of Harlem Ave.
