I so much appreciate the smell, the warmth, the visuals, the health, those who keep it running. All of it feels homemade, not just the food. It is great to be able to take friends who haven't been, or go again with those who have. I feel like I am back in Bellingham, Washington, only I'm home sweet home.........Thanks very much. I live right next to Winslow's Home, and it's a godsend for those times I need to just run out and get chicken broth or some pasta. Their prepared food is great though! I love that they have things from their farm which are always fresh. It's great to have produce that looks REAL- not perfectly shaped, waxed and tasteless. Definitely try their chocolate chip cookies...I could spend hours looking through their art from local artists and random little things like lip gloss, greeting cards, garden tools, etc. The store is beautiful, but is a bit expensive. I'm happy to eat the price difference to shop at a local mom and pop sort of place most of the time though. As for the previous review, I go to Winslow's Home at least twice a week and am never treated anything but nicely. I would say that person's experience is quite out of the norm.

I have never been treated so badly! More than once. I no longer support WH and discourage others from shopping at an overpriced specialty store where being rude to customers is justified as being cool. Yuck.
