We made a visit to the farm and picked up brat patties and burgers. We grilled some of them for a small gathering this evening and they were outstanding. I was truly amazed how tasty yet lean the brat patties were. The same is true for the burger patties. I would highly recommend buying from Dolly Rock as they are definitely doing things right in terms of how they treat the animals and the quality of their products.

Way to go Amanda and family!

i have recently become aquainted with some dolly rock pork at my local food co-op Goodside grocery store in sheboygan and I really have to say that i LOVE LOVE LOVE! the meat. As a kid i always spent summers with my sisters -both associated with farms ( one sis in Kiel) and i remember the taste of good farm milk and natural meats un proccessed and pasture raised...the taste is so much better there is no comparison! please dont ever stop being a producer for the goodside your pork sausage links are to die for! thank you for existing

Our family has a new meat supplier!! On our first visit, my husband, daughter and I felt very welcomed as Amanda toured us around the farm. It was such a treat seeing all the animals, who looked very content and healthy. Especially fun were the piglets, who were making happy piggy noises as they rooted in the yard, and wow- some of the most beautiful chickens I've ever seen! Amanda is very knowledgeable and passionate about the care of her animals and also about healthy eating. We left with a sampler box of beef, pork, and rabbit. And a couple dozen eggs, too. Everything was so good, I just can't say enough about how we enjoyed it.

I especially enjoyed being able to eat pork again! You see, I had developed an intolerance for pork and for years had avoided eating it because I'd get soooo sick from it. But after talking with Amanda about the problems some people have with pork because of the nitrates in cured ham & bacon and/or the hormones & antibiotics store-bought pork contains, I hesitantly agreed to try a little of her pork (which is NOT cured with nitrates/nitrites). And for the first time in 7 years, I was able to eat pork chops, ham, *and* bacon without getting sick! Amazing!!

We've since purchased a quarter of beef and have ordered a half hog, too. I'm so glad to have good, quality meat in the freezer for my family. And I'm really looking forward to eating some barbeque pork ribs soon! We're definitely ordering more meat through Dolly-Rock Farm! Thank you for being so wonderful, Amanda & Chris!
