Great farmer's market, especially to have the availability to shop organically in a lower income area. Definitely good prices and all the stands have fresh produce.

Sggestions: 1. One of the vendors should bring fresh farm eggs. I'm a vegan who would eat eggs if I knew the hens were treated well and weren't killed when they no longer can produce eggs. 2. More variety of fruits.

Love it!!!

Love being able to grab fresh, locally grown produce --only caveat is that I wish they were open early morning, and more days.

If you go to the "fresh fruit markets" on Central avenue in Jersey City you will know why we love the farmers market on Journal Square. The fruit and vegetables are clean and fresh. In addition, it is locally grown. Just try to get fruit like that in the local stores.

Great variety of fresh locally grown vegetables, baked goods with friendly and knowlegeable vendors. Great way to spend my lunch hour.

Buying local helps keep greenhouse emissions down and money in the pockets of local businesspeople and consumers. The Jersey City-Journal Square market also provides me an opportunity to get incredibly fresh produce less than a 10 minute walk away from my apartment!

The market brings a bit of the Country into the heart of our City.Usually here the veggies are packaged and semi processed....It's nice to see the produce in it's "raw" form...
