I am giving this market 1 star. I have been to numerous farmers markets in over 10 different states throughout the country. This one is by far the worst I have ever attended. The market manager is insufferable. Several of the vendors and a majority of the patrons were kind. Many of them even complained openly to me about the manager. The manager approached me about the puppies I was carrying in my bag and my small rescue companion. As they are my emotional support I bring them with me to many venues. The majority of people enjoy their company as much as I do. However, the manager was very rude. When the manager interrupted a transaction to kick me out of the market place, when the manager insisted I leave immediately, I finished my transaction and told the manager, "You are pushing away paying customers. I will not return to the market."

Saturday mornings at the Farmer's Market are a must in Topeka. Local produce is top notch with great prices and friendly service. You can count on the vendors to have a variety of goods and they are very helpful in answering questions. I like the opportunity to support the local economy and my fellow Topekans!

I have been to markets in larger cities that do not have near the variety and quanity of products found at the Topeka Market and it has one of the best atmospheres.

There are almost 75 vendors, and on some Saturdays, more. There is a lot to choose from, and the environment is delightful regardless of the weather. There are crafts, foods, cooked and straight from the garden, flowers and herb plants at a fair number of venders. Everything is all nice, neat, and orderly.

The market is organized and properly managed, it is centrally located and set up in a manner friendly to the customers. Topeka Farmer's Market is properly advertised both on the internet as well as through local media. Saturdays at the Topeka market are a fun experience both for those shopping or browsing and for the vendors!
