It had been several years since we stopped at the Oro Valley (Steam Pump) farmer's market. I was surprised at how little produce was for sale. Baked goods, CBD oil, knife sharpening, honey, and soaps were plentiful. Yet produce was limited to two sellers and selection was minimal. We gave up and went to Sprout's. We won't be back at this location. We did stop at the egg seller on the way out who wasn't part of the farmer's market but was doing big business from the restaurant parking lot next door.

This farmer's market moved to a new location. It's now on Oracle just south of Oro Valley Marketplace at Steam Pump Ranch. I really want to like this market but I much prefer the old location. One visit here makes you realize why cowboys are often named "Dusty". The entire lot is sandy dirt. By the time you leave your car will be covered with dust. There's not a drop of shade and its just not a pleasant experience especially in our triple digit summer heat. The produce is very limited, as well.

It is wonderful having a farmer's market with fresh produce so close to home!

It is small, very local produce and merchandise, they have special events like Tai Chi, and it is friendly. Like neighbors meeting in the cul da sac.

It's only a mile from my home and has great fresh fruits and veggies grown without pesticides.
