My husband and I are so happy we have signed up with Walnut Acres. In the past we primarily shopped at Whole Foods and were really happy with their meat, but Walnut Acres is even better. And we would rather give our money directly to the farmer. It's also really neat being surprised every month. I did a lot of research before we decided on this farm and I have not been disappointed.

We recently signed up for the bi-monthly pick up through Walnut Acres Farm. While we have only had 1 pick up so far, we are already certain that supporting their farm was a good investment.

Not only do we love that the meat is free of chemicals and fillers, but their portions are MORE than generous. Currently it's just my husband and myself who enjoy the meat. Twice we have had to SHARE either a pork chop or steak because of their size. You can actually taste the difference between their meat and store bought meat. It's amazing.

We hope more people hear about their farm, and get to experience their food and enjoy it as much as we do.

I'm a new customer to Walnut Acres Farm, and I love it! The quality is wonderful, and I love knowing that it is healthier than what I could buy from the store. I'm working on increasing my young family's nutrition, and I believe good quality meats and eggs are a very important part of the picture.

Robin is very quick in answering any questions and I am pleasantly surprised at how many options there are in this CSA. Sure, you can't pick out every cut of meat you would like, but they let you order either every month or every other month, and customize your order to a certain extent, and add on particular items as well, if desired. Not all CSAs offer these options.

I heartily recommend this family and this farm.

I've subscribed to Robin and the Walnut Farm for almost a year. The meat is fantastic, Robin is easy to talk to and answers any questions promptly and thoroughly. This is the quality and service you will never find at Walmart or any other supermarket. Eat sustainable, local, and support someone you can meet and know rather than an impersonal corporate authority a thousand miles away, you will not regret it!!

I have been with this csa for about a year now and have been very happy. They have been very accommodating with pick-ups and what is in your pack each month. It is quality product.

I've always wanted to buy organic meats, free from drugs, hormones, etc. But I could never afford it while I was in school. Once out, I found Walnut Acres. I'll admit, at first the price scared me a bit. But, once I compared it with meat I could find in the store, the price is really good.

So, I just did it and I signed up for 3 months, to try it. Being alone, I get my meat every other month. What a difference! The meat is so tender and juicy. I feel better when eating this meat, knowing I'm not putting nasty chemicals in my body. I've had to learn some new recipes, as I'm now eating more meat.

I've never been a bacon or a pork person in the past. The meat I get from Dave and Robin made me change my mind. The pork chops and shoulder steaks are so juicy, nothing like the dry pork chops I grew up on. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Oh, and the eggs are great too. I've never had fresh eggs before, always bought them in the store.

So, my advice to you if you don't know if you should sign up is, You gotta do it! For your enjoyment, for the taste, and for your health. What are you waiting for?

I have been buying their meat for several years and have been very satisfied. I really enjoy getting meat from livestock that I know has not been given hormones or antibiotics. I also I know that their animals have been fed properly. Robin has also been a wonderful person to work with when ordering!

I can't say enough about the wonderful taste of hormone free, drug free, pasture fed meat. I usually don't eat a lot of meat. Not because I don't like it, but because I don't like what's in it!

Now that we have tasted the meet from Robins, Walnut Acres Farm we can tell the difference and enjoy eating more often. We are in our 4th month with this CSA, and don't plan on leaving any time soon!

Robin and Dave are willing to work w/ you on supplying the meat that you want. They are truly commited to their farm and teaching the community of the benifits of Natural meat!

The word farmers doesn't sound just right. Robin and Dave are more like caregivers to their animals. They CARE and care FOR the animals. I am confident that the meat was well taken care of, treated well, and the best part....tastes AWESOME!

I also love that I am lessening my carbon footprint! Robin is wonderful to work with and you can tell how much she cares about their farm and business.

All the meat is good quality, and very delicious. I am especially happy with the fact if is safe, from the farm and unadulterated with chemicals as well. The eggs are just wonderful,so fresh, and the chickens, pork and beef., sausage, bacon are outstanding. I have liked everything I have ordered this past year. I have been purchasing beef and pork from Walnut Acres Family Farm for several years now. It is wonderful! The meat tastes so much better than the supermarket meat. I feel much better purchasing this meat knowing that it contains no hormones or antibiotics and is free range, pasture fed. And the service is wonderful!
