It is close to me. It was designed by the consumers and offers a wide variety of choices. The location is accessible with plenty of parking. For a market in its first year, it started with a bang.

Vendors are great. I like the fact they focus on food, unlike some farmers marekets with lots of non-food items. Also like the high % of organic / nonpesticide vendors. In addition, they are a nice set-up with easy parking and live music each week!

It's filled such a great need in our end of the Triangle. Now we can get our bread, eggs, veggies, and everything else without having to drive all the way into Raleigh, while still supporting our local farming community. It's a new market, but the organizers have done a fantastic job of establishing it, and it feels like it's been there forever!

This market has a nice variety of items for sale. From fresh sweet corn, blueberries, Great Harvest Bread, ethnic foods, local wines, jewelery, meats and mucho more. The food items taste so much better than from a grocery store too. The people selling their wares are more than glad to talk with you about their products and most have free samples. Most weeks there is a both to learn more about our environment such as run-off, butterfly and using the library. One week they had everything about solar power including a little soalr go-cart and human powered light-bulbs. My kids LOVE to come with me to this market!

The vendors are wonderful, the variety is great, and the location is ideal. WWFM also takes strides to create a feeling of real community, something that is desperately needed in this sprawling suburb!

This first year Farmer's Market is everything a community market should be - it is managed through volunteer efforts by a very diverse group of individuals. They all have in common an interest in healthy living, good food, and community spirit. On any given Saturday the market is full of happy vendors and shoppers all engaged in enthusiastic discussions about good, fresh food. The Board of the market has remained committed to its vision of a true farmer's market. And the Education Tent provides information and entertainment to young and old alike. Way to go Western Wake!
