My De Soto Farmers Market is awesome because the people who are selling things are always friendly and the food is always fresh. They don't overwhelm you with crafts and hobby-type booths but focus more on the fresh food grown from gardens around the area.

I've been going to Farmer's Markets for years and I'm so happy that we now have one in our community! The food is so fresh and people are friendly. It's great to see families involved in buying AND selling. I always buy something from the booth that sells produce from the community garden, a project funded by De Soto Community Foundation in cooperation with Developmental Services. The Farmer's Market is just another great example of community members supporting each other. Thanks to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church for hosting it--I love it!

Being local is great. We have a great little town and we all benifit from it. It is a chance for residents to get together and share their products.

because desotos farmers market is so nice you can bye fresh food and it is all home made and it is all at a great price it is good for or town. every body gets together and they get along.

I love everything about it. Our small community of DeSoto is wonderful and the Farmers Market is just an extension of how great our community is.

Becuase the products are local and it is VERY important to me to purchase local products and I will not buy products grown or manufactured outside of the United State.

The products are of good quality and it is an opportunity to support local vendors.

It is GREAT not only can you buy wonderful produce, baked goods and natural items. This is a place where our town can come together as a community and share time and conversation with one another. Our town is very small we have a super walmart where most people purchase their groceries. It is very nice to see that people are interested in healthy good quality food and not just the cheapest price. The farmers market is great for our hometown!!

The DeSoto Farmers Market brings local products to local people. The product quality is great and they Market has a great friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy and meet the need of the local community.

Finally!! Local FOOD!! It is wonderful to be able to get fresh food and not drive into St. Louis. Tell all your friends or bring them. I did!

Our market's theme "Buy Fresh, Buy Local" has come true. Saturday, June 20 I witnessed many coming to buy the fresh produce and products grown within 50 miles of DeSoto. What a great time everyone has, meeting friends and making new friends and buying fresh produce and baked goods along with other healthy products made from natural items. We love to have people come to the market.

I am a vendor, this committee is awesome, they are working around the clock to get this up and going and with it being the inaugural year this would be an awesome tip of the hat!
