it's growing and bringing local organic sustainable food to a community that might not otherwise have that option

Because they are there every Sunday, rain or shine, fair weather or foul. They have consistantly good produce, plants and honey (thanks, Andrew) .The Farmers and Vendors are pleasant, reliable, and work hard to get their produce ready for market. I rely on the Tompkins Square Green Market to bring me food I can count on.

like that it's around the park, w/ all it's greenery & space & the loyalty of the purveyors who come to my nabe to provide us w/ truly good food.
