This is a great addition to our community. Seasonal local produce, dairy and meat. You can feel good physically and mentally by helping the growers, your family and our environment. My kids love to shop there and we have tried so many more vegetables this summer that we all eat since they get to pick their own.

Consistent food vendors with a wide variety of products at reasonable (for organic/organic practices) prices. Every changing non-food vendors makes a trip to the West End Farmer's Market an outing!

I believe in local produce and products and this is a wonderfull place to have a Farmers Market.

The quality nd variety of the produce is great. When buying local is this easy, why would anyone do anything else?

I hate missing a Saturday. The vendors have become friends I look forward to seeing each week. I buy my produce, always a chocolate chip cookie and a loaf of Cinnamon Raisin bread

There is just so much to love about West End Farmers' Market. I love the fresh produce because it makes me become creative with my cooking. (I buy almost no processed food|) Every week the offerings are different. The new potatoes were so delicious. You could just boil them and eat them like a snack. Tomatoes were perfect for homemade fresh tomato sauce to go with eggplant. The peaches were perfect. Eating fresh and local is the way to stay healthy. And the artisan products bring me back for that wonderful oatmeal soap and other offerings.

It is really close to my home in Wellesley. I love being able to shop the local produce and eat local.

The West End Farmer's Market offers a variety of produce, including organic, pesticide free fruits and veggies. It's a great way to support local farmers and put something nutritious, fresh and delicious on the table for my family.

There is not only great produce the people involved in running the market and the farmers are amazing. My children are learning about what a community is suppose to be.

There are many vendors who offer products grown/produced using organic practices. We also enjoy the many craft vendors with beautifully handcrafted goods. A manager is always on-site, answering questions and assuring that market practices are upheld.

It is convenient to my home and I can get fresh veggies and fruit along with healthy meats.

I love that it is close by, has all local produce...plus a fun kids activity for my boys. The produce is excellent!

I love showing my kids where the vegetables really come from, the farmers. We also love getting fresh meat and bison. Plus showing my kids that people can make a living actually producing something they made is a lifelong lesson I hope to pass on. We LOVE the new market and it has been incorporated into my weekly grocery shop, I just swing by the market first.

Great produce, breads and meats! and it is right around the corner from my house. I try to shop there every week.

It is so great to have the market so close to home. The selection is good, vendors are helpful and everything purchased has been amazing.

Great variety, location couldn't be more convenient. Twice a week is great for keeping a good stock of local fresh food. The meat selection is outstanding. Eggs and milk a huge plus. Love it, love it, love it!

You know, for years the west end of Richmond has bosted the most ethnically blended, modern, hip, cutting edge society. We are finally seeing the results of the bost and getting (not just saying) that we are up with the times.

Farmers markets mean that people in the area are thinking "green" and looking for true natural organics while supporting not only our local farmers, but the earth with which we have been intrusted.

Great people and products, well worth anyone's time and dollars.

The quality and freshness of the produce can't be beat. I love being able to give my family wholesome nutritious foods and support local farmers at the same time. Very convenient location too!

Great location, excellent produce, quality meats and the vendors are all super nice.

The only vendor selling peaches does not allow you to choose the peaches you wish to buy, but selects the ones she wishes to sell for you. She refused my request to make my own selection. I like to choose for myself what I am spending my money to buy. Would you accept this from any other grocer? I don't think so.

Try the Byrd House Market or the South of the James Market instead.

The produce is fresh and local, the crafts are excellent, and the market is 2 blocks from my house- I can walk to the market. I am supporting the system that sustains all of us and in return, I am healthy.

I love it because of its vendors and community location. Also the people running the market are awesome, regularly sending emails on the products available. It is a happy farmers' market.

I love to drive by on a whim and know I can pick up fresh foods that haven't traveled for 7 days before they get to me(fresh, fresh, fresh).I am supporting the local economy and decreasing my carbon footprint.

Close by!!! However, I don't think everone is reading you warning about pets. Sat. morning I saw two. One being carried and the other on a leash. Sorry!!!

Besides having fresh food so conveniately close by I feel a real sice of community. When you have vendors take such pride in their products and produce, it attracts similar like people. I cannot wait to watch it grow.

I love supporting local farmers in the Richmond area and everything is soooo fresh that even my kids are eating more fruits and veggies! The location is very convenient too.

This is a much-needed wonderful resource for local foods, even though prices of some of the vendors are high.

This conveniently located market is well organized and features and excellent selection of locally raised produce and meats. The vendors are friendly and professional and always provide excellent customer service.

I love the variety of there being a large selection of meat, vegetables and fruit to choose from. Then also being being able to sell their homemade soaps, lotions, pasta, bread and jewelry. Great location!! I have told all my friends about it also.

The West End Farmers' Market makes the weekends the best ever -- it's the only time I really get to enjoy cooking. I plan my menus around what is at the market. This summer has been all about fresh veges on the grill, crisp salads, and wonderful fresh fruit desserts. Nothing processed! Yummy and healthy!!

My kids and I love picking out fresh produce, handmade gift items and talking with all the great vendors. I learn something new every week!

This new farmer's market has impoved weekly. The offerings are wonderful and expanding. This is the only market I attend on Saturday and Wednesday.

I'm so thrilled to have a farmers market that I dont have to drive 20 minutes to go to - i mean, doesnt that defeat the point, anyways? I've been getting most of my produce and some of my meat there!

West End Farmers' Market is only in it's first season, but has a fantastic variety of local produce.

They're a new market and are meeting a need in our community. They have a wide selection of locally grown food and crafts - and they do wonderful outreach to children and families.

I love the wonderful fresh produce, fresh meats, cheeses, soaps, as well as the variety the market has to offer.

It's a refreshing feeling to go to the market and get really fresh produce. Not to mention the fruits, vegetables etc are fresher then the supermarkets, which makes them healthier for you.
