I greatly appreciate having a high quality farmer's market on the northside of town. Atlanta is a big town and travel time is no joke. When I factored in at least an hour's travel time, I sometimes could not fit a market visit in on a Saturday morning. Peachtree Road Market is a delightful experience, from variety of product, wonderful people, chef demos, and I am thrilled to have it in the neighborhood.

A range of farmers, each offering differnt varieties of vegetables. You can always find some new variety of cucumber or lettuce.
I like the number of farmers with small plots in town, as well as some backbone farmers with larger farms, it makes for an interesting mix.
Also, very good, local vendors of coffee, cheese, bread and sweets makes it a fun place to visit.
The organizers always have some new event to perk interest -- it makes for a great Saturday morning destination.

The variety of products and vendors in wonderful and everything I get there is delicious and of excellent quality. I have gotten to know some of the dedicated, hard working people who sell their produce, pasta, meats, bread, pastries, and other products and they are a great bunch. The farmers are terrific, the crowd is friendly, and it's a great place to see my neighbors, many of who have recently gotten into gardening themselves. On December 20th, I'll go into a deep depression and eat out of cans until April comes around. It's the greatest place in Atlanta on Saturday mornings! It's like the piazzas in Italy and the small outdoor markets all over France.
Not only can you get the best organic food in Atlanta, you get to see all of your neighbors and friends. I personally know of about 5 different groups of friends that meet there every Saturday for coffee and pastries available there. I also love the little kids that sell lemonade for a charity. There is also a college student who farms a small plot of land to raise money for college.

It was my first visit to this Farmers Market. I love going to the market, just because. I enjoy fresh produce and fruit and honestly can't get enough of it during the season.
I usually go to the Farmer's Market on Marietta Square, but today was different. I volunteered for the ice cream tasting event. So I arrived early and was pleasantly surprised at the number of vendors and produce available. Even the numbers of people continued right until the closing.
Very nice I'll have to come again.
