I like the convenience of having a market open every day. However, there are no certified organic sellers here. When I asked each and every one they either told me, "I'm as organic as I can be without being certified"...not bad I guess but they didn't seem to want to elaborate. More often I heard, "No. If I didn't spray, I would have nothing to sell". I appreciate their honesty but they were all quite unpleasant with me when I asked. I will continue to buy from them when I can't make it to the few organic sellers that are unfortunately farther from home.

It is open I think almost every day from spring to fall unlike most that are only open one day a week for 3 or 4 hours. Big selection as well.

It gives the opprotunity for farmers to sell their locally raised crops. In return local resitents can enjoy freshly grown local produce and get to know their community.

High quality, fresh produce locally grown and sold by the farmers; they treat each customer as a friend! I enjoy this as it is so lacking in our society today.

I found this farmers market last year. I was so excited to see the farmers out selling their own crops. Other farmers mkts in the area sell fruits and veggies from distant locations. You can find the best flowers, apples, fruits and veggies in the area. If you are not aware of how to prepare something the farmers will tell you how to cook them. I love this place. Plus you are supporting locally :)

I live in Boone county. I try to buy organic when possible also. I am wondering where have you found to go to buy local and organic?
