Parkrose Farmers Market is walking distance from my house, and my children enjoy listening to the live music, eating the fresh food and looking at all the pretty things. I love how the vendors are so family friendly!

It is a wonderful farmers market supporting our local growers and artists. I love the vegetables, fruits, and local arts. It is a wonderful location with friendly atmosphere. Local bands play weekly. I invite all to come enjoy the day.

It has a little bit of everything and is just getting its start. Love coming to make purchases from local vendors that have great prices. There is always a (free) drawing for a basket of market goodies.

I love being able to shop and buy my food from local markets. When I lost my job that joy was also taken away from me. Until of course I found the Parkrose Farmers Market! I know can buy products that are good for me and my community with the EBT Oregon Trail program that is helping me get through this rough time! Thanks Parkrose Farmers Market!

The Parkrose Farmers' Market has the best atmosphere of any market in Oregon. I've been to a lot of them. They pride themselves on friendliness, making sure all products are local, and community. They seem truly genuine in wanting to make their market a community event a fun place to be on Saturdays as well as getting the best bargain of any market around.

It's small, it's local, it's fun to visit. Not only do I love the produce, but I always see folks I know. The flowers are lovely, the chance to taste new things, baked goods, buy pottery for friends or soaps etc. What's not to like. I like to support my community.

This is a relatively new market - only a couple of years ago it opened. Small but very impressive in the wide variety of products and produce. And the music each week has been top-notch. And most important is the opportunity to support the community surrounding Parkrose. They are gathering certain household items to provide children arts and crafts materials. There is an advocate for the Homeless each week - taking donations and sharing the Homeless newspaper to keep folks informed on homeless statis and opportunities. Local farm fresh vegies and fresh baked goods and fresh garden flowers to buy and bring home to brighten the day. I have been to many large and formal markets but this one is my favorite because of the community spirit it provides. I would love the opportunity to nominate them and have them receive the support. Thank you.

All farmers markets should be supported, but this one in particular is in an area where stores are scarce.

It's a new (2 year) farmer's market that features great vendors - crafts as well as food. It builds community by having seating and wonderful local music. Everyone is super friendly. There is also a collection of canned food every week to help a local relief service.

Plenty of produce, food, crafts, artists, nursery stock, flowers, a family place with Music and great people to meet.
The proceeds from the market also go to our schools!!
