The Islip Farmers Market brings together Long Island farmers from both the west and the east of the island, both the north and south shores. The farmers and vendors there are very friendly and knowledgeable. Their selection ranges and is not limited to: fruits and vegetables, flowers, jams and jellies, honey, cheeses, baked goods (excellent, by the way) and even visiting farm animals to keep the little ones temporarily entertained while you shop. Also it is held Saturday mornings, which is convenient for those who work during the week. Definitely worth visiting.

The variety of products and organics available is key but we especially love the hours! Many markets are open during the week while most of us are working- the Saturday hours are perfect!

I live in Islip Township, but I do not know where this Farmers Market is located. As soon as I find out, I will support them. I didn't know they existed. Anyone know their address?

It's conveniently located. Fresh is best! And I like to support local merchants.
