I've been buying from Axel and Nikki for years, first at the St. Matthews farmers' market, sometimes at the New Albany market, and in recent years through their CSA. They are wonderful people who do a terrific job, and have stellar (and varied) produce. I'm delighted that they are still willing to deliver (it's just more convenient than having to ensure that I'm available for pickup), and would gladly pay to have them continue doing so. Nothing but good things to say ...

Since there's only two of us, I was a bit concerned about being able to use each weekly share while still fresh. I needn't have worried--the variety and quantity of veggies were perfect! Axel's Monday emails telling us what to expect are awesome for meal planners like me. The produce quality is top-notch! My only wish is that Nikki's beautiful flowers were a more frequent option. We'll definitely sign up again next year!

It's such a pleasure to get an email from Axel a few days before receiving my bi-weekly CSA bag. Axel gives an approximate list of the produce they are hoping to include which gives me a little insight into my possible meals. Each time, there's a nice variety, it's delicious, and it's in a reusable insulated bag that I return to them. Aside from being great farmers turning out nutrient dense produce, Axel & Nikki are great communicators. They follow through on what they say they are going to do! When we move into winter, I'm disappointed to have to get my produce from a store. I've had a CSA with Lost Creek Acres for several years and I couldn't be more pleased. Buying local produce from people you trust is as good as it gets! :)

We belonged to another CSA about 8 years ago in Louisville. It was such a disaster that we got a partial refund and were hesitant to try another CSA. We loved Lost Creek Acres' produce when we purchased at the New Albany Farmers' Market so we decided to join their CSA. We just finished our 2nd season with them. We cannot say enough good things about the quality and variety of the produce, the communication, the dedication to their customer base, their willingness to go above and beyond if needed, and just them as people. We LOVE them! It's always sad when the season ends. We are spoiled by the high quality of their food. I dread buying grocery produce in the winter. Thank you all so much!

Recently enjoyed a loaf of Oat Flax bread purchased at New Albany Farmers Market. Delicious hard crusted treat as good as any premium "European style" bread I have had. Highly recommend!

I've been a CSA member of Lost Creek for several years and I love it!! This is a high quality CSA, which I recommend regularly. The size of the share is perfect for a small family - you won't have leftovers for weeks. Axel does a great job providing a lot of different fruits and veggies, and will not give you a bag full of only summer squash as many do in late summer. He also gives you a nice mix of customary items (peppers, lettuce radishes) and unique items (kholrabi, mustard greens). His variety of fall squash are amazing.
I really like that this CSA avoids using plastic bags and is as green as possible.
