They have a very unique Farmer's Market! It is in the best location for being easy to get to. The apparence is very "home" like. I hope they win the prize, they deserve to.

It's the best little market on the Ohio River. They serve delicious Belgian waffle every Saturday morning. There are numerous vendors and sometimes you may hear Banjo or Guitar music playing by the locals that adds to the already quaint atmosphere. I hope they win the prize so they will be able to continue offering the hospitality that Ripley is so well known for.

friendly, good selection of bakery items, can get eggs, cheese, gravy and sauce mixes. when i was there not a big selection of fruit and veggies. but they are the only market to actually hand out the card and asked us to vote,(we have been to about 7 different markets this year) so they must really want to upgrade and improve on what they have. So I hope they do win BIG!!

They had homemade potato candy for sale in the bakery! I haven't seen potato candy since 1977! The locally grown berries were awesome - every place needs a small bakery and farmer market like Ripley has. Help them and the way cool Ripley Farmer's Market community grow!

Ripley Farmer's Market is so close to me. I love the fresh vegatables and food items! I also love the book rack, bakery items and lunches, and the special events (low-cost pet shots). I am hoping that the Ripley Farmer's Market Lives Long and Prospers!

This market is very personal and displays many strengths of the local community and feels like a special place to buy your produce, baked goods, and art. Being able to stand with a local farmer and artisan and talk about their livelihood while sharing a meal made at the market is a special and unique experience possible at the Ripley Farmer's Market.

I will support any attempt of local farmers to recoup a portion of their investment of time and money. Times are hard and these people have been struggling and need any help they can get. Hard work needs to be rewarded and making fresh food available benefits all who partake. Bravo!

It is held in historic downtown Ripley. I love their Library and the people are just so friendly. They have redone the river front and it is just so beautiful. An apple, a park bench and the view. A perfect day.

Ripley has the best market, with all homemade items as well as fresh produce. Homemade thick belgian waffles and our famous peanut bars! Ripley is a small appalacian town and could use the funds to add improvements to a great market right on the Ohio River in Brown County.

I think it is a great asset for our community and an opportunity for the local farmers to be able to market their personal crops and other items, and also great for the consumer to have fresh vegetables and local made and produced items to buy. It is a win/win for everyone! I raise my own vegetables, but I think it is great for those who don't or can't have a garden.
