We stumbled upon The Grass Fed Cattle Co as they had a booth at the Edina Art Fair. We are so happy we did. We ordered 1/8 beef share and a pork bundle, which fit in the top portion of an older type refrigerator/freezer without any issues. Each piece of meat comes shrink wrapped and frozen so no air can get in to spoil the meat. The ordering and pick-up couldn?t be any easier. Thank you, Abby!! So far, we have had the bacon, pork chops, and did a taste comparison of a few steaks. I say comparison, but it really didn?t matter. All the cuts were amazing, but just with a little different flavor. Sorry I forgot to take pictures since we just started eating it so fast!! I would highly recommend The Grass Fed Cattle Co. and will definitely be back once we?ve gone through our freezer. We will be grilling some more this weekend and can?t wait!!

A couple weeks ago my husband went to the Centennial Lakes green market and bought a package of ground beef from this company to try. Next week, we bought a cow share (1/8). The taste is as good as it gets - lean but juicy and super flavorful. It also turns out to be a great value once you calculate how much it comes out per pound, especially for the more expensive cuts like steak! I am a huge fan of organic but it gets so expensive, so I love finding values like this - both healthy and cheap. I used to get Australian grass fed beef for 3 times the price (!) so needless to say this is a major find. The only downside is if you are one person, or have a small freezer... then you'll have to find a friend to split it with. It's so much better than what you find in regular supermarkets though... you really have to try it.

Our family purchased an 1/8 of a grass fed cow and we are very excited about our purchase! We made a French Dip sandwich with the arm roast that was amazing. I could totally tell the difference in the meat. This was our first bulk purchase and we were very impressed with the Grass Fed Cattle Company. We felt well informed prior to the purchase and the pick up was very convenient for us. We would highly recommend the Grass Fed Cattle Company to anyone looking to save money, support local farmers, and enjoy mouthwatering beef.

My husband and I ordered an 1/8 and have loved every bite. The ground beef taste phenomenal and the roasts fall right off the bone. We can't wait to grill all the fabulous steaks. We will definitely be buying again. Buying in bulk is the only way to go. You always have a meal in your freezer.

We have been purchasing beef in bulk for a few years, but went through Grass Fed Cattle Company this year! We are very pleased! From easy ordering, simple pickup, great information and tasty in the mouth it has been an excellent experience! It feels good to eat healthy foods, and even better to support the local farmers!

We recently purchased 1/8 of a cow from the Grass Fed Cattle Company and have been impressed every step of the way. They provided good information on the product, quality/convenient service and pick-up, and we love our beef. So far we've only made hamburgers with the ground beef - it's extremely lean, tastes wonderful, and I feel so much better knowing that we're eating healthy meat while supporting conscientious farmers and business owners.

We purchased an 1/8 of a cow and I made my first meal with the roundsteak. Even as it was cooking I noticed how much better the meat smelled! The taste was remarkable and I am so excited to make other meals with this meat. Thank you Abby and Marcus, we couldn't be happier!

We recently purchased beef (1/8 of a cow) and were very happy. Pick up was easy, fast and convenient. We were also very happy with the beef. I have to admit, we were a little hesitant about how the grass fed beef would tast, but there was no need to be nervous. It tastes GREAT! We'll never go back to regular beef. Other items to note - the Grass Fed Cattle Co. includes a nice information sheet highlighting the farmer who raised the cattle which our kids really enjoyed reading. We highly recommend!

I never imagined that beef could be so delicious as well as healthy, not only that you get more beef for less money, it can't get any better than that. A small Minneapolis business facilitating local farmers providing a healthy beef product. I encourage everyone to check them out, you will absolutely love it.
