Great local food. Fresh. Variety. Value. Homegrown. Homemade. Farm to Table. Pies (Apple of course), Brownies, Fudge. THE most yummy Cider Donuts worth driving anywhere from and waiting on line for (no worries goes really fast!) Even GIANT Mums:) Plus owned by the nicest and most hospitable family you'll ever meet. Seriously.

The apples are very good but not organic. Here's my beef: All the baked goods contain margarine instead of real butter. This makes me furious since people come to "farms" like this thinking they are getting down home real ingredients. Be careful of the baked goods!

Great apples, yummy natural peanut butter and wonderful beets, carrots. The cider is always great. I live locally and ever time I go to Soon's I have never been disappointed with my purchases on apples. Today I decided to try their vegetables they looked so fresh. I was told they were organic as they came from a local farm. I went to many local farms today and everyone I spoke to did not grow organic. I hope this is true. My suggestion is to educated the staff on what Soons sells and where it came from and how it is grown I also asked when they get their fresh supply of vegetables and no one could answer me on that question either.

SOONS PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR STAFF! IF SOMEONE DOES NOT KNOW HAVE THEM DIRECT THE CUSTOMER TO SOMEONE THAT KNOWS.

Hi there, sorry! My staff should've known that our local stuff is often "naturally raised" or grown using IPM techniques, but not certified organic (though the beef is). And they should know we get in produce as we need it, so usually twice a week. I hired about 10 new kids this fall, and tho they have a 22-page manual and training, sometimes they'd rather say i don't know then come find someone who does. I will remind all them.

We've been buying apples, pears, veggies, pies and local beef at this farm stand for years. We love it and enjoy going there on a regular basis. The donuts are fantastic when they come fresh from the fryer, and the pies are always good! Definitely worth a detour and a regular stop!

This is everything a farm store should be. Incredible apples, almost year round- but full of their other produce in season, and all kinds of great food from local farms. An old family farm that believes in promoting locally grown food. And - it's open all year except June and July.
