It is not a fancy market. I just sells really good home grown food, fabulous baked goods and beautiful flowers.

If you don't want to deal with the craziness that is the Public Market downtown this is the place to go. The vendors are all friendly and knowledgeable. i even got a great recipe for zuchinni gratin last year.

I always thought a farmer's market was a place for farmers to sell their produce. That's why I shop at them; to support local family farms. I visited this market for the first time last week and was surprised at how many stands offered oranges, giant red peppers, and yes, even pinapples.

If you are also looking for local don't dismay. Just walk past the first two or three rows of vendors to find local fruits, veggies and natural meat! Feel free to ask the folks running the stands if they grew it themselves. If they did they'll be happy to tell you so and give you their thoughts on the local pineapples.

Because it's got a real hometown feel in a large town environment! Everything is fresh, and we're quite fortunate to have them! Thanks!

The people are so friendly! And they give you "bargains", too! Much less costly than shopping grocery chains ~ and so much to choose from! I appreciate the time and effort it takes to put this on display for us.
