I love stopping into Krankie's every Tuesday. The highlight of the market for me is having a delicious lunch from Second Harvest Food Bank's Triad Community Kitchen. Chef Jeff always has something special cooking. The food is delicious and it supports a wonderful cause! I support Krankies Local Market because it brings a great variety of organically grown products downtown, an area that has been in dire need of a local market for many years. You get to personally interact with the farmers that grew the food, thereby removing the doubt "Is this safe to eat?" You can also feel good about the fact that the distance between the food from the farm and your plate had used a lot less fuel than what you buy at the grocery store. In addition to the market, there are always the wonderful coffee drinks and the amazingly delicious baked goods from Camino Bakery. You're crazy *not* to support this market!!

Best coffee I've ever had!!! Great friendly folks running the place which along with the eclectic atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out. The fresh baked goods are one of the better kept secrets in town.

Krankies is providing space for local farmers to bring their produce to soentown Winston-Salem. Krankie's also promotes the market at 2 locations--4th street on Tuesdays and Reynolda Rd on Thursdays.

Krankies is a local vendor that whose product we carry in our store. We also support Sanders Ridge co-op that provides the produce and wine for sale at the local market. Sanders Ridge uses our Winston-Salem Whole Foods Market as a pick-up spot for their co-op members.
