I was truly impressed to meet the owners and operators of Green Planet Catering, a group that came together with decades of restaurant, farming, and chef experience between them. Between Pete Pagano, the Keefer brothers, and the rest of GPC, the Triangle has an amazing and passionate commitment to leaving a smaller impact on the planet while providing delectable, organic, specialties and menus. From picking up used veggie oil from area restaurants, to double-processing it themselves to use as biofuel to fuel their delivery vehicles, to growing their own aquaponic herbs (did I mention delectable), organic potatoes, tomatoes, lettuces, etc., this team knows how to cater the Triangle. They've catered small local events to corporate events for NC Sustainable Energy Association, Burt's Bees, government affairs, weddings, and more. If you have the chance to meet this team, sample their foods, or book them, their passion will truly inspire and surprise you.
