I am a shareholder for the local farm at Habersham and would highly recommend it . You get it fresh and locally and it is always delicious, unlike the bland produce you might find in the grocery store. The beauty of this is that you get the chance to try fruits and vegetables that you might not choose otherwise. It is a great way to help with biodiversity and the produce is grown without pesticides or herbicides. Check it out if you get the chance.

Local fresh produce as well as seafood, breads, flowers and soaps make every Friday a delight. We can walk and pick up our produce.

We had wanted to take a drive out to Habersham for some time and decided to visit their new farmers market when we heard about it last weekend. Wow! I was surprised to see how nice Habersham's Marketplace was with all the shops and their own post office. In the center of the main street is a square where the farmers market was setup under big tents. It turned out to be a great find! There was everything from fresh produce to local artwork. I picked up some hand made soaps, apples, homemade preserves and some fresh baked banana nut bread. It's a great little adventure and it was nice to drive around and see the neighborhood homes after we were done at the market. Habersham really is becoming a beautiful little town!
