It is the only way to let the farmers of this area to know that we values their work and determination to continue to grow food for livelyhood. The areas is known for good soil and the food is healthy to buy.

I believe farm-fresh, locally-grown fruits & vegetables taste better than those purchased in supermarkets and are more nutrient rich.

the local farmers are an important part of our county. It saves money, gas, to buy locally and that helps the environment. I work a few days each summer on a horse farm and a vegetable farm in the County and know the hard work, yet the joy that comes from working on the land. Orange County New York's black dirt region is famous world-wide and produces excellent crops. I am also vice president of the Orange County Land Trust and expend much of my energy trying to save local farms.
