Almost all my food comes from this market- from fruits to vegatables to cheese to eggs to turkey to fish to bread to meat-- it is my weekly love.

I'd much rather buy produce that is locally grown than spend the extra $$$ to shop at high-end gourmet stores for similar fare. One of my cousins runs a tomato farm and has really opened my eyes to the value of farmer's markets to small family farm owners like him, so I consider it a win-win situation all around!

It is our local green market where neighbors meet and where we all have an opportunity to get to know the people who provide our food.

The veggies are great. The fruit is great. The fish is great. The prices are quite reasonable. The variety is far greater than you'd expect at a little "local" neighborhood greenmarket. The farmers are very nice and helpful. Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh. It's not a pretentious greenmarket: just a wonderful one.
