I live in Macedon. I shop for the best food to support my health and taste buds. I am so grateful for our farmers, without them this nation is nothing. I support the farmers beacause I rather give them the money than a big store. My family were farmers and I know that it's hard work. If it wasn't for them what food would we have ????? NOTHING like FRESH fruit and veggies...

My family and I stopped by the Macedon market as we were driving through that part of New York last summer. It is such a nice market. The actual growers are there to sell their wares - and they were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Some farmer's markets are mostly crafts stands - not this one. Macedon is loaded with fresh vegetables. I highly recommend it! We try to plan our road trips with local markets in mind - so we've been to tons of them. This one has been one of our favorites!
