I live a couple of miles from this farmers' market. The produce selection is very good there, with plenty of organic options. They also have meat, nuts, tofu, and specialty bread. The atmosphere is very family-oriented. If you go towards the end, you can get some great deals!

The farmers market offers fruit and vegetables with actual flavor. The smell of freshly baked bread surrounds the tables. Its refreshing to be able to smell and taste the food you buy instead of just seeing overly marketed packages under florescent lighting. The food is good and the farmers are great. Did I mention that they have fresh fish and meat as well? Shopping seasonally and locally is the best thing you can do for yourself. Yum, yum! And one more thing, the TriValley Rescue center is out there every Saturday with pet adoptions. You can also sign up to volunteer.

Has plenty of local, great organic produce. I run into some of the proprietors in town sometimes, and they are very nice. They also have a guy playing a guitar almost every week, or a band comes and plays. Pleasanton has a great Farmer's market...!

The produce is delicious and the people working there are so nice. There's always live music and some clown to entertain the little kids. I always feel like we become such a community on Saturday mornings at the market.

The Farmer's Market not only provides wonderful fruits and veggies (many organic), but also has local musicians, artisans and health care practitioners--a delightful way to spend a Saturday morning. Through the Market, we also enjoy a sense of community -- just another of the many reasons we enjoy Pleasanton so much.

I think it's important to support our local farmers who bring us safe and delicious produce and for such a good price. I plan on attending more often.

I've been going to this market since I moved to the area six years ago. It's great because it's year-round, and it's especially nice at Christmas to be able to buy the ingredients for meals and lovely gift items like jams, cakes, and olive oils. It's also right in downtown Pleasanton, near great restaurants and coffee shops. In the summer it can get hot, so go early (opens at 9:00).
