Reviews for: Piqua Community Farmers Market
Care2 Review: We love this market!

Piqua's market is one that is a shining example - while in their first year of operation, Lorna Swisher and her people have put together a market that is unique and true to the great offerings the Miami Valley has to share with its consumers.
A thriving new market

The Grand Opening of the new farmers' market in Piqua was highly unusual in a most delightful way.
Typically, the beginning of the season in most markets can be low-key; that's true even for well-established markets, and all the more so for mid-week markets.
So, for a new mid-week market to take off like a race-horse like this market did indicates tremendous community interest in local foods as well as the presence of a leadership team that understands the importance of good marketing.
The Piqua Market has a lot going for it: a diverse group of vendors; community support, and a steady flow of customers from the opening bell at 3:00 right through to the finish line at 7:00. That's a winning combination.
Miami County now has a new destination place, a thriving Farmers Market in Piqua.

A Great Market

I had the privilege to be a vendor at the Piqua Farmer's Market this season with today being the first day. I have to say this is a great farmer's market and had a great turn out of buyers. The location is great and the customers say it is easy to get to. Congratulations to Lorna Swisher, Richard Zimmerman and the City of Piqua for holding this farmers market, I look forward to being there on Thursdays!
